Fusion: Marketing and Design
Fusion’s mission statement and slogan is “Igniting creative conversations.” Based upon this concept, I used the cliche design elements of a flame and a light bulb and reimagined them in a unique format. Many of Fusion’s clients worked on shoestring budgets and Fusion wanted to position themselves in a way which demonstrated their resourcefulness. I came up with the three design elements used on fusion’s primary business elements, showing different ways of using their business cards, letterhead and envelopes.

Autumn Leaves
Autumn Leaves Studio is a promotional products company. After doing market research, I found that by pulling back and becoming more subtle, Autumn Leaves’ identity stood out from the other gaudy identities that promotional products companies were using. The splash logo is used on promotional item give-aways at tradeshows while the traditional logotype is used in all other applications.
The brass show
brass|MEDIA, a company concerned with educating yound adults about money, needed a logo for their new podcast they were launching. I designed a logo family based upon the informal and sometimes irreverent presentation of the money side of life in the podcast episodes.

MEI: Advancer Wet Processing System
MEI LLC needed a sales sheet for presenting their modular wet processing system; a clean room machine which drips silicone wafers into chemical processes. The clients really wanted to present the wet bench in a format that best showed all the features of the Advancer’s modular functions. I designed the brochure to prominently display the isometric graphic and diagram all the features while keeping the brochure clutter free since these machines are primarily used in clean rooms.
Magzine Layouts
Allison Kelley feature article spreads
Allison kelley, a contestant on Project Runway, was interviewed in a featured article for brass|MAGAZINE. In the interview, Allison lived in several different places all over the world and didn’t want to be photographed working at a sewing machine since most of her work involved making patterns that other people would work off of. After brainstorming, a couple other designers and I came up with the idea of making a patchwork layout consisting of elements of Allison’s past and what sorts of things influence her.
Ridiculous Spreads
The Ridiculous column in brass|MAGAZINE commonly features the extravagant excess of wealthy individuals. Extremely expensive food items were the focus of this issue’s article.
