Wallpaper Wednesdays: Alice in Wonderland
January 14, 2009 · Posted in Wallpaper Wednesdays
This week features a non-roboty Alice in Wonderland illustration. What started out as a random mushroom sketch morphed into a familiar tale of a white rabbit, a creepy old man with his hand in his pocket, a Cheshire moon and a curious girl swept away by an umbrella-fungus.

that hand IS uber creepy. Good thing the level of awsomeness to creepiness is perfectly balance. Good work
I love how this turned out…if only we could all have fungus for an umbrella (sigh)
Fantastic! Its amazing!! Great job Dan! It’s my fave so far…go figure. haha!
I think almost everything about alice in wonderland is creepy. Aside from the Disney version, which has its moments, I don’t think i’ve ever seen a movie or illustrative take on the story that isn’t creepy. I also do think that that’s what makes it so great. Everyone loves a little mystery. Thanks.
