Wallpaper Wednesdays Moving to Wheneverdays
When I decided to relaunch my blog, I wasn’t thinking small. I envisioned a faithful redesign, a portfolio section, random personal links, a twitter feed, the works. Part of the grand scheme was new content and lots of it. Wallpaper Wednesdays was the first regular posting on Holy Robot, and I intend on staying true to that ideal. One thing I didn’t realize was the amount of time commitment these weekly wallpapers take. I’ve been averaging about 20 hours a wallpaper; add a 40-hour job onto that and wifey-time (video games don’t even get scheduled time anymore) and things start to get hairy. Read more
Wallpaper Wednesdays: Pandas Need Friends too
Poor panda; all alone in the bamboo forest. Good thing this panda has a robot friend. Who says pandas and robots can’t live together in harmony?

Wallpaper Wednesdays: Alice in Wonderland
This week features a non-roboty Alice in Wonderland illustration. What started out as a random mushroom sketch morphed into a familiar tale of a white rabbit, a creepy old man with his hand in his pocket, a Cheshire moon and a curious girl swept away by an umbrella-fungus.

Portfolio Sections Updated
Hi all. Just popping in to say that the design and illustration pages on my site have content in them (w00t!) and they’ll be getting updated as I design more totally awesome stuff. Check them out and be sure to let me know if you see any bugs. My contact section still isn’t updated yet, but that’s in the works.
Peace out!
Wallpaper Wednesday: Robot School Girl with Teddy Bear
Wallpaper Wednesday! It’s a cute robot girl with her precious teddy. I’m working on refining my style in Illustrator, so check back next week for a non-robot themed wallpaper. Gasp.

Bakerbot’s Creative Design
My wife and I started kicking around the idea of me doing up some sort of cake-robot illustration for her cake company that she could put up in her kitchen and I thought it’d also make for a great desktop wallpaper. I got right to work on it after she went onto Colour Lovers and picked out a nifty color scheme for me. This robot was more difficult to work out than the waiter robot I did last week.
