Mario Cake Goodness
So I had a birthday a couple days ago. Happy times! My wife, Liz Marek, made this sweet cake for me, so sweet that I couldn’t keep it to myself. I absolutely love video games, and Liz really went the extra mile on this Super Mario birthday cake. Here’s some photos of what she did for me. P.S. – If you’re wondering where the princess was, the cake filling was peach flavored. Oh, the little extra touches!
Back in Action
After joking around endlessly about the swine flu, I came down with a virus about three weeks ago. It eventually moved into my stomach which was not fun at all. I finally recovered from what turned out to be the worst flu I’ve had in a long time. Expect to start seeing some more updates on here in the coming week or so. It’s good to be back.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Tattoo
I thought I’d try my hand at some stylized tattoo artwork. This style’s been done to death, so I tried to create some inspired and fresh ornamental swashes. I think the line work turned out pretty good; it looks sort of organically evil, like an octopus.
